Next month marks fifteen years since Christopher Walmsley was tragically struck by a car at the bottom of Richmond Hill. The incident left the Ballasalla resident severely paralysed and with life-changing head injuries. Though given a slim chance of survival by doctors, fundraising has allowed him to receive residential care and pioneering stem cell therapy in Germany. Christopher’s mother, Carol tells Islandlife about their journey.
