Monday 8 November in Gallery
Families and friends from all over the Island wrapped up warm to enjoy a dazzling display, hosted by Port Erin Commissioners last Friday. This year, the usual bangs and whistles were replaced by low noise fireworks – the first display of its kind on the Isle of Man.
The quieter rockets, fountains, and sparklers, hit the spot not only with the crowds, but also local residents with pets that struggle with the noise bonfire night usually brings. With such positive feedback, let’s hope this becomes the norm for next year.
