Competitors tackle the 2021 Kingdoms Isle of Man Orienteering Championships

Thursday 14 october in Sport

More than 30 people took part in The 7 Kingdoms IOM Orienteering Championships at Tholt-y-Will Forest and Glen.

Organised by Isle of Man Orienteering Klubb, competitors were challenged to navigate using a sequence, before locating different orienteering control flags placed at various locations throughout the forest and glen.

Participants could enter into three different levels: Novice, Intermediate and Championship. The Novice course provided opportunities for families and beginners to navigate orienteering controls using major paths and tracks, with the Intermediate and Championship courses offering a more technical challenge for the more experienced orienteer.

After a successful morning, winners of the different categories were presented with their prizes.
