Jane Howland from the Children's Centre tells us all about the Race the Sun event, taking place 22nd May 2021.
In its 12th year of the event (having been cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic) the event has raised more then £120,000 in that time. The challenge is simple - set off from Peel, at sunrise and aim to complete the 100 mile island coastal footpath, 'Raad ny Foillan', before the sun sets that same day.
All money raised by participants of Race the Sun goes towards the Children's Centre and the fantastic work they carry out in the Isle of Man.
For more information about this event please contact Jane Howland or Sharon Connor by email [email protected] or call 01624 800000.
